William M. Lonergan is the president of Lighthouse Security Consulting, Inc.

For nine and one half years prior to founding his own consulting firm, he was the Head of Corporate Security for Genetics Institute, a leading, multi-site biotechnology company.

Preceding that, he served twenty-four years, in positions of increasing responsibility, as a member of the Massachusetts State Police. He was appointed as officer in charge of the sensitive Internal Affairs Bureau, and he retired from that organization with the rank of Captain.
